If you are a parent, family member or friend, whose baby has died, we offer you our deepest condolences at this very sad time. Whilst the Stillbirth Foundation does not offer direct bereavement support, we hope that the information you find in this website will provide you with some comfort that something is being done to address the terrible tragedy that is stillbirth.

Teddy Love Club is a support program for bereaved parents who suffer the loss of their baby or babies to miscarriage, genetic inducement of labour, stillbirth and neonatal death. Teddy Love Club donates Traditional Teddy Bears to bereaved parents. In the hope that the Teddy can help to try to ease the pain of leaving the hospital with such aching empty arms and bring understanding and comfort to the parents.

Cradle is a Northern Territory (Australia) support group for parents and their families who have suffered the loss of a child of any age through miscarriage, stillbirth, neonatal death, or any other tragedy.

At Open Doors a range of counselling services is offered. One that is becoming more extensively utilized is our Pregnancy Loss Counselling Service. Over the years this service has grown to cater for a large number of people affected by the emotional turmoil that often follows abortion, miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy or stillbirth. There is a great diversity in the nature and severity of the psychological and emotional reactions in both women and men following a pregnancy loss.
